Head of Sales (Electrical Engineering)


Are you an experienced Head of Sales with an electrical engineering background? Are you looking for a fresh challenge? If so, then you will definitely be interested in this excellent opportunity.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Increasing the sales turnover by developing and driving the sales strategy
  • Arrange and attend customer visits throughout the UK with both new and existing customers, on an agreed call cycle
  • Oversee the database of current/lapsed accounts and new business generation
  • Attend and support at exhibitions throughout the year, ensuring all relevant leads are followed up in a timely manner
  • Ensure sales KPIs are consistently and efficiently met
  • Build effective and strong relationships with customers in order to grow business further
The role will play an important part in enabling the company to achieve its significant business growth targets.

Therefore, it requires a self-motivated and ambitious sales professional who wants to be involved at all levels within a manufacturing company.

As an experienced sales professional you will be able to demonstrate considerable ability and an understanding of the company products being offered.


Essential skills:

  • Extensive experience gained within the electrical engineering industry (preferably cable assembly)
  • The ability to create and implement strategic sales plans
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to come up with solutions and ideas
  • Selfstarter, who can work autonomously
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
  • Ambition to build a sales team and become part of the leadership team
