Carer/Support WorkerOverview True Care is a private provider of domiciliary and palliative care to adults, supporting people to stay at home and live as independently as possible.

We are looking for caring and reliable people to join our team.

We welcome experienced support workers although experience is not required as we provide a comprehensive training package to all new starters.

You will need to have your own car as we are community-based.

Carer Responsibilities (day to day) * Assisting service users with personal care * Making meals and encouraging food and drink intake * Ensuring service users homes are kept clean and tidy * Assisting with shopping and household tasksCarer Requirements (expected qualities/skills) * Must have a kind and caring nature * Must have patience and empathy for others * Must have a willingness to help othersBenefits * Comprehensive fully paid induction training (including shadowing shifts with current support workers to meet all of our service users) * Competitive rates of pay * Holiday Pay paid monthly * Paid Mileage * Free uniform and PPE * Generous Pension scheme * Fully paid training * Flexible working patterns * Part of a friendly TeamWe are based in Milnthorpe/Kendal and surrounding areas.
