Hourly Rate:
£ £12.53

The advertised hourly rate includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.


A market supplement of £0.72p per hour is also attached to this role and is included in the advertised hourly rate.

This will be applied to both your basic salary and to any additional hours.

We have opportunities for caring and compassionate people to join our Care Services Westmorland and Furness team in Kendal as Support Workers (Carer Care Worker Care Assistant) providing support and care within our Disability and Mental Health Services.

About Supported Living (DMH)

Supported Living empowers vulnerable adults including people with learning disabilities or complex care needs to access the personalised support they need to live independently in their own homes in the community.

Staff work with individuals to build life skills and are led by the individuals interests and priorities.

About the role

As a Support Worker (Carer Care Worker Care Assistant) you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care.

You may also assist with medication providing personal care and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence.

No experience or qualifications are needed to get started.

We will help and support you with fully paid training and development - we are looking for the right people with the right qualities.
