Based at our Head Office in Huddersfield, you will be working for the Yorkshire-based and family-owned Myers Group of Companies which supplies construction products and services across the region which include:

  • Myers Building & Timber Supplies
  • Supplying Building Materials, Timber, Plumbing & Heating Supplies, Kitchens & Bathrooms to the Trade & DIY consumers from 16 Branches


Readymix Huddersfield
  • Supplier of Readymix Concrete, Concrete Interlocking Blocks and Volumetric Concrete Services


Johnsons Wellfield
  • Quarry and Supplier of Aggregates & the Highest Quality Dimension Stone for Prestigious Projects, as well as an Inert Landfill


Myers Skip Hire
  • Supplier of Waste Disposal & Road Sweeper Services
The successful Transport & Compliance Administrator will receive a competitive salary of up to £28,000 (based on experience) plus fantastic benefits including:

Hours - Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5.00pm (flexible)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support our Transport Manager with driver and vehicle allocation, delivery scheduling and holiday management
  • Support our Transport Manager with recruitment including vetting CV's, scheduling interviews etc
  • Wide range of administration duties including administering our Driver Hours Management System, Tracker System, Driver Licence Database, H&S Management System etc
  • Undertake Drug & Alcohol Tests on New Starters, with the support of our H&S Team
  • Communicate with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders as required
  • Managing any customer complaints, road traffic incidents and claims related to the transport process

Skills and Attributes we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in a transportation or administration role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Working in an ever changing and fast paced environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative and make informed decisions
  • Must be selfdriven, genuine with a positive, 'can do' attitude
