HR CONSULTANT

STOKE ON TRENT

PERMANENT

FULL TIME HOURS
UP TO £36K DOE

THE ROLE
Actively own customer queries to resolution, building trust and rapport on each interaction
Provide advice on a variety of queries ranging from employee relations matters (disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence) to a clients HR / People Strategy
Update policies, procedures and documentation
Provide advice and assist with managing the employee lifecycle
Work closely with and support colleagues with the day-to-day management of clients, such as conducting HR audits
Organise meetings and other events as required
Maintain a high level and breadth of employment law and HR best practice knowledge

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Previous experience working within a HR function and dealing with a wide range of employee relations matters
Ideally CIPD level 5 or 7 qualified or equivalent experience
Experience of HiBob or another HRIS
Preferable experience of using SharePoint and confident with Microsoft packages
Knowledge of the latest UK employment law and HR best practice
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Forward-thinking, proactive and ability to use initiative
Applicants will need access to their own transport due to occasional (mainly local) client site visits
