Brian Gow Roofing Supplies is a successful independent roofing supplies merchant with branches across Sussex and Kent and we are looking for a part time Admin Assistant to strengthen the Accounts team at our Head Office in Hartfield.
Main Duties and responsibilities
As a key member of our Accounts team, you will be supporting your colleagues with a full range of accounts duties.
Your role will include, but not limited to:
- Ensure all supplier invoices match the purchase order and input into Sage.
- Match all supplier invoices with statements and proactively request any missing documents.
- Distribute all supplier invoice queries to colleagues and provide assistance when necessary.
- Send all customer invoices and statements.
- Proactively resolve any customer invoice queries.
- Send all remittance' to suppliers
- Set up new supplier and customer accounts.
- Collaborate with your colleagues regarding any process improvements.
- Office duties: Assist with answering the telephone, ensure the office remains clean and tidy and assist other members of the team.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Selfmotivated.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent computer and arithmetic skills are essential.
- A team player that can work both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Sage experience would be desirable.
- Dealing with medium to high volume invoicing.
- Experience of working in a similar environment
