MAIN AIM;


To be accountable for accepting delivery of Stock and thereafter correctly receipting and distributing Stock allowing any stock losses to be reported and investigated.

Maintaining stockroom areas to company standard.

Motivate the team through relevant coaching and training and to lead by example in all areas of stock related duties.


RESPONSIBILITIES;

  • Taking ownership and providing support for all stock movement, across the men's department in store. Be direct line of support between stock control team and Stockroom manager.
  • Support in overseeing efficient operation of the stockroom, including supervision of the stock team, and planning their daily productivity.
  • Support with managing the stock room planning process to help maximize branch efficiency during normal and peak trading periods (along with Stock Operations Manager)
  • Participate in weekly stockroom walks, working closely with Men's GM providing weekly updates with regards to task completion
  • Management of odds, working towards keeping within set targets
  • Ensure all processes and paperwork are completed accurately.
  • Complete stock spot checks to help ensure that the REX stock file is accurate, investigating and reporting identified issues to Stock Audit and Stock Operations Manager

DELIVERIES

  • Ensure that the correct number of cartons is delivered from the Warehouse, checking with Loading Bay or Driver if a carton is not received in the first instance.
  • Report any missing cartons to the stock operations manager immediately.
  • Check that the Security Kurt Geiger tape has not been tampered with, signing for any carton that is not sealed with this tape as "DAMAGED"

RECEIPTING OF DELIVERIES

  • Open all the cartons and lay stock out accurately and correctly check off stock against the Manifest.
  • Ensure that the size, style, name, colour, UPC and Line Number and branch details match the Manifest before accepting stock. Once accepted, ensure all units are pair checked to ensure no odds.
  • Double check units delivered and if delivery is short, adjust manifest and give to administrator to complete a Branch Discrepancy Form (BDF).
  • Check new lines along with bulk replen deliveries to determine if the style needs to be pulled for display.
  • Responsible for ensuring all units have been receipted onto the system accurately.
  • Update white board / liaise with stock operations manager to communicate delivery call outs day to day.

INTER-BRANCH TRANSFERS

  • Check off stock received from alternative suppliers using the paperwork supplied in the carton delivered, raising discrepancies accordingly.
  • When sending transfers out, ensure company procedures are followed including pair checking / QC checking and making sure the correct styles are in the boxes.
  • Ensure all transfer manifests are filled out correctly and handed to line manager to process through Rex.
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is attached to the out cartons and transfers are taken down to the loading bay efficiently for collection.
  • Ensure Loading Bay is checked in the morning and at the end of shift to ensure no parcels have been left or missed.
  • If missed they are brought back up and rebooked.

PUTTING DELIVERY AWAY

  • Always ensure stock is put away on relevant shelving and not on the stock room floor, ensuring that the barcode labels are clearly visible brand, in colour, alphabet and size order, if required, and in compliance with the Manual Handling Regulations.
  • Ensure that stock from different departments are not mixed.
  • Ensure careful handling of Company merchandise to prevent any unnecessary damage, maintaining a high standard of stock maintenance, including guidelines around SHOE BOX ETIQUETTE
  • Manage the Recall process, by locating stock as identified as a Recall in the Company Bulletin, liaising with the Stock Operations manager to ensure these are completed within the necessary time frame. Obtain AGR number and label stock ready for collection.
