Retail Sales Associate

As a Sales Associate at Selfridges, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team that delivers exceptional customer experiences.
Customer service is at the forefront of what you do, and you will be an expert in all things Selfridges, providing expert knowledge of our products, events, and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the team to create memorable customer experiences by building rapport, sharing product knowledge, and catering to customer needs.
- Conduct sales, refunds, and exchanges, helping customers find alternative products or offering online services.
- Maintain the highest retail standards by selling and replenishing stock, organizing rails, and hosting events.
- Be open to customer feedback and use it constructively to continually raise the bar for service, sales, and retail standards.
- Manage and oversee stock in your department, from unpacking deliveries to completing audits and maintaining the stock room.
- Adapt to the challenges of a fast-paced retail environment, working on different departments and taking your service excellence and collaborative spirit with you.
- Stay ahead of the latest trends by expanding your knowledge of products and competitors.
- Follow health, safety, and security procedures, and play an active role in preventing stock loss.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills to positively engage with customers with varying needs and requirements.
- Well-informed and knowledgeable about products, trends, and competitor activity.
- Proven sales and service expertise to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Problem-solving skills to resolve issues for customers and adapt your approach to each individual.
