Domestic assistants are more than just a cleaner, they are the lifeblood of the NHS and an integral part of the team, keeping hospitals, health centres, offices and other areas clean and hygienic.

No previous experience is required and training will be provided inline with the BICS accreditation. We will cover costs for a DBS check if required for the role.

Shifts available:

  • 37.5 hours Monday Friday 10pm 6am
  • 35 hours Monday Friday 4:30pm 12am
  • 25 hours Monday Friday 4pm 9pm
  • 15 hours Saturday Sunday 10pm 6am
  • 8 hours Saturday Sunday 6pm 10pm

Main duties of the role

  • Carry out cleaning duties as required for an assigned area including wards and departments, toilets, bathrooms, showers
  • Comply with the Trust infection and control policies
  • To liaise with colleagues and patients
