Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department, working closely with junior medical staff to ensure the highest standards of clinical care are maintained. The role will involve proactive leadership in ensuring that all patients receive rapid assessment, treatment, and clinical decision-making, while adhering to Emergency Access Standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality care to patients, including clinical leadership and supervision of junior medical staff.
- Ensure that all patients receive rapid assessment, treatment, and clinical decision-making, while adhering to Emergency Access Standards.
- Provide highly visible and focused clinical leadership, working in conjunction with the nurse in charge of the shift and the SpR/specialty doctor lead to ensure effective and timely communication between the clinical team.
- Liaise with clinicians and managers within and outside the department to address issues arising that affect the services.
- Participate in relevant audit and quality assurance processes.
- Communicate with local GPs.
- Valid GMC registration.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Minimum of 3 months paid experience in the NHS/UK.
- 6 months UK paid experience as a doctor.
We offer a competitive rate of pay, ranging from £56.20 to £57.91 per hour, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality care to patients, and we are looking for a like-minded individual to join us.
Please note that this is a full-time, part-time position, and the expected hours are 40-50 per week. The schedule includes Monday to Friday and weekend availability.
