An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the ELHT District Nursing Service. This is a full-time, permanent position, based within the Burnley Central DN team.


The post holder will be working within a neighbourhood team where tasks and duties will evolve as the service further develops.

It is important the post holder is able to work flexibly at times, using their own initiative and organisational skills to complete tasks.


The service is made up of a wide group of staff who support each other and are driven to provide excellent customer service and meet organisational needs.


An understanding of the need for confidentiality and previous administration experience is essential as is the ability to work both in a team and unsupervised.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, motivated person.

Flexibility is paramount as you could be asked to work on different sites or cover an alternative shift to meet the needs of the service.

Strong IT skills are essential to this post as is being an excellent communicator with exceptional organisational skills.
