Although experience within financial services is preferred, it is not essential.

The responsibilities for the role is listed below:nTelemarketingnHave a thorough understanding of our products and services and what makes Bartlett an exceptional advisory firm for Employee Benefits (training/support provided)nTo contact pre-identified prospective clientsnWhere necessary, undertake research into prospective clients prior to initial and follow-up calls, using social media platformnTo successfully bypass gate keepers whilst gleaning as much information as possiblenTo identify and productively speak to the decision makers for Employee Benefits ensuring qualified, quality and productive meetings are setnTo identify benefit renewal dates, existing broker relationships, key insurers, annual premiums and fee/commission costs and any other relevant information to assist in the prospecting of the target clientnTo arrange appointments for designated colleagues to visit or have an introductory Teams callnTo ensure an effective and prompt hand-over of individual prospective client information to the designated colleaguenPipeline ManagementnTo undertake prospect database cleansing activitiesnTo promptly and accurately update and maintain databases of prospective client datanTo assist in the further development of prospective client databases, through the addition of new potential clientsnTo manage a diary system thereby supporting the ongoing contact strategy for the prospective client databasesnTo accurately process and control marketing documentation and general correspondencenTo ensure that all prospecting responses are documented and delivered in a timely mannernTo participate fully in new business initiatives, contributing ideas to these wherever possiblenTo provide both positive and negative feedback and be entrepreneurial in how the telemarketing process can be improved to increase meeting successnGeneral StandardsnTo maintain KPIs notified by line managernTo ensure that you treat customers fairly, in accordance with the FCA's TCF principlesnTo present a positive and professional image of the Bartlett Group in all dealings with prospective clients, existing clients, suppliers and the public in generalnTo communicate effectively, both internally and externallynTo maintain positive and professional working relationships with colleaguesnTo manage own day-to-day activities efficiently and effectivelynTo contribute to the smooth running of the department and the company, including participation in the Company's internal audit procedures, where requirednTo achieve and maintain the required level of Training & CompetencenTo be aware of the relevant FCA regulations and to assist the Company in remaining compliant by working within Company proceduresnOur Ideal CandidatenSome of the experience, skills and behaviours which are important to us are:nPrior experience within a telemarketing to role with demonstratable successnYou are a strong and articulate communicator with a proficient level of written and spoken English and grammarnYou are resilient and tenaciousnYou are keen to continually learn and develop your knowledge and skill-setnCurious to understand, improve and challenge/question where appropriatenExperience of team environments and an understanding of the importance of the team and how together we will all support each other in being successfulnBeing proactive in your thinking and how you can improve work tasks and support our busy team in being more efficientnAbility to efficiently manage your own workload often without supervisionnExperience of working with online CRM databasesnYou are proficient in Word and Excel with strong organisational/administrative skillsnAbility to develop, nurture and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externallynYou will be joining a department that is proud and supportive of every member of the team and the team spirit that is in place.
