Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, United Kingdom North Lincolnshire Council Full time
Do you want to make a difference?
Can you provide stability, love, care and support to our children whilst leading, inspiring and motivating a team day to day?

Would you love the opportunity to work alongside and support a skilled team of Residential Officers providing care direction, support and challenge as an extension of a robust and supportive management team at Kingfisher Lodge?

We are seeking experienced and motivated individuals to work alongside our residential officers to provide children with a trauma informed and therapeutic style of care that promotes relationships and supports their development.

If you believe in placing children and relationships at the centre and can model, inspire and influence others then we would like to hear from you.

You will need to be a team player with an ability to demonstrate an understanding of the issues our children can face, working closely alongside your colleagues to provide care and support to children who may have experienced emotional and behavioural difficulties, be well organised and have knowledge of legislation, procedures, standards, and guidance relating to children's homes and children in care, including knowledge of national quality standards and regulations for children's homes.

We need people who are motivated, experienced, dynamic and can work flexibly to meet the children's needs. Our innovative One Family Approach model ensures the best possible outcomes for children and their families. We believe children and young people should be in their families, in their schools and in their communities.

Our approach, our investment in our workforce, our culture of continuous learning and improvement, as well as our friendly and inclusive working environment is what makes us stand out.

If you would like an informal discussion about the role, please contact:

Rebecca Fleming
