Senior Residential Officers

Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, United Kingdom North Lincolnshire Council Full time

Do you have what it takes to make a positive impact?

  • Are you able to provide stability, care, and support to children while effectively leading and motivating a team on a daily basis?
  • Do you welcome the chance to collaborate with and assist a team of Residential Officers, offering care, guidance, and encouragement as part of a strong management team at Kingfisher Lodge?

We are looking for dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team, working alongside our residential officers to deliver a trauma-informed and therapeutic approach to caring for children. This approach focuses on building relationships and nurturing their growth. If you are committed to prioritizing children and relationships, leading by example, and inspiring others, then we want to hear from you.

As part of the team, you should be a collaborative team player with a keen understanding of the challenges children may encounter. Working closely with your colleagues, you will provide care and assistance to children who may have faced emotional and behavioral struggles. Being well-organized and having knowledge of relevant legislation, procedures, and standards concerning children's homes and care is essential, including an understanding of national quality standards and regulations.

We are looking for individuals who are driven, experienced, adaptable, and capable of meeting the diverse needs of the children. Our innovative One Family Approach ensures that children and their families achieve the best possible outcomes. We strongly believe in keeping children and young people within their families, schools, and communities. Our distinctive features include our approach, investment in our staff, culture of continuous growth, and a welcoming and inclusive work environment. These factors set us apart in the industry.
