Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and motivated care officers to work within our residential children's home, based at Tree Tops. As a key worker, you will oversee the development and implementation of care plans that are designed to provide meaningful choice and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children and young people with their personal, social, emotional, physical, and health care needs.
  • Develop and implement care plans that promote independence and choice.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to provide a safe and supportive environment.
  • Take direction and work as part of a team, and when necessary, take responsibility for leading a shift in the absence of a senior care officer.

Requirements

  • Good general education.
  • Knowledge of disabilities and ability to support children and young people with complex needs.
  • Ability to work flexibly on a rota that includes every other weekend, bank holidays, and regular on-call/sleep-in duties.
  • Willingness to undertake relevant training, including the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
