About the Role

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated Senior Estates Officer (Mechanical) to join their Estates department at Scunthorpe General Hospital. As a key member of the Estates Management team, you will play a proactive part in meeting the Trust's objectives in a safe, cost-effective, and efficient manner, while ensuring compliance with legislation and good practice.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out AP duties in line with relevant appointment and HTM requirements.
  • Support the Senior Estates Manager and deputise as required.
  • Functional management of junior staff members.
  • Responsible for training and mentoring of estates team members.
  • Provide senior engineering support and act as a role model for other maintenance team members.
  • Cross-site responsibilities in accordance with appointed AP functions.
  • Med Gas/Mechanical responsibilities.
  • Responsible for specific oversight and completion of AP action logs.
  • Technical support to projects.
  • Provide technical reports and solutions.
  • Regular engagement with the Authorising Engineer.
