We are looking for an Events Officer to join our friendly and welcoming Fundraising team here at Hft.
With a new strategy and fundraising plan, this is your chance to be part of making a real difference for people with a learning disability to live the best lives possible.
About the role
As an Events Officer, you will be responsible for managing and developing the Challenge events and Special events fundraising portfolio.
You will achieve targets by increasing the number of own place sporting participants and improve the current ROI on sporting activities.
You will manage relationships with supporters, event organisers, volunteers and key stakeholders. Ensuring excellent supporter care to ensure long term commitment.
Contributing to the overall implementation of the Fundraising team's objectives.
About you
To be successful in the role you will have experience working for a charity in an event fundraising capacity.
You will also have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and be able to work well within a team as well as independently.
