You:

You're a caring, fun-loving person with a passion for helping older people stay fit, active and independent. You're an excellent motivator and an inspiring leader.

And you're good at building friendships - so you can get to know residents and create tailored activity plans based on their individual interests and ability.

Most of all, you recognise what a vital role activity and exercise can play in the physical and mental well-being of older people.

You're willing to go the extra mile with your team to make a big difference to our residents' lives.

Your role
Reporting to the Home Manager, you'll lead a small team of lifestyle co-ordinators. You'll work closely with your team to create interesting, tailored activity plans for every resident.

You'll take time to get to know residents and their relatives - to find out which activities or hobbies they find stimulating.

You'll also be responsible for organising outside trips for residents and involving the wider community in the home. It's a hugely varied role that's both challenging and rewarding. With quality training and lots of support, we'll help you make a big success of it.

Our carers experience specific dementia training developed by Care UK's own in-house experts to better understands the challenges faced by individuals with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

This allows our team at Lennox House care home to provide helpful and sensitive care.


Our care home is full of passionate carers and we help our residents maintain links with the local community as well as support in staying close to their loved ones.

Family and friends of residents can visit anytime and stay for as long as they like whether they want to eat dinner with their loved one or walk around with them in our large secure gardens.

We also provide endless support for our residents should they want to chat
- in which case, we'll pop the kettle on and have a heart-to-heart with them over a cup of tea.
