This is a wonderful opportunity for the right person, with a passion for emergency planning and preparation, to learn on the job with guidance and support from an experienced EPRR professional.


You will be part of a small team responsible for the management, development and delivery of a wide portfolio of contingency planning.

You will need to demonstrate strong organisational skills, the ability to work to tight timelines and excellent attention to detail.

Knowledge of Emergency Preparedness Resilience and Response would be an advantage.

  • Prepare, review, test and maintain emergency and business continuity plans
  • Engage in meetings with internal and external partners and stakeholders to ensure best practice and parity across business areas and organisations
  • Provide support to the emergency management team during spontaneous and replanned incidents / operations
  • Assist in the design, creation and delivery of Business Continuity Training

  • Coordinate and support the delivery of EPRR Training
  • Assist in the maintenance of policies and procedures for emergency planning and business continuity.
  • Monitor and report progress of emergency planning and business continuity to the EPRR Lead.
  • Lead engagement with Trust departments to formulate and maintain their business continuity plans.
  • Maintain an easy to use and easily accessible repository of business continuity plans, accessible to departments.
  • Develop and standardise templates for Business Continuity Plans to be adopted Trust-Wide, working with governance leads
  • Support the EPRR and Business Continuity Lead in facilitating and delivering workshops and exercises.
  • Provide senior support in administering the policies and procedures for EPRR Business Continuity.
