We are looking to appoint an individual with experience of working with children with complex presentations and neurological difficulties, who has previously worked in an orthopaedic setting. You will need skills in postural management, manual handling and have the competencies required to assess for equipment to enable occupational engagement, particularly in relation to self-care activities.
The role involves pre-op assessment, post-op intervention and seating assessments for children undergoing complex orthopaedic surgery in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.
