An exciting opportunity has arisen in our team for an OT with children's OT experience.We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced OT to join our well established and innovative Children's OT service that combines the traditional roles of both health and social services Children's OT. We are based in a modern purpose built Children's Development Centre (CDC) promoting MDT working and shared working spaces.Proposed Interview date - 6th June 2024 Main duties of the job The post will provide OT services to children with a wide range of disabilities. OT services will include the full range of OT input required by the children on your caseload in their homes, nurseries, schools and respite placements within Croydon. Along with clinical work the post holder will also supervise more junior members of the team and OT students on placements and assist with and lead on service developments. Regular supervision and support will be provided About us Croydon Health Services NHS Trust provide hospital and community services from a number of community and specialist clinics throughout Croydon. The Trust was formed on 1st August 2010 through the integration of Croydon Community Health Services and Mayday Healthcare NHS Trust. Around 4,100 staff provide services for a population of over 360,000 people who are relatively young with a high level of ethnic diversity. Our main hospital site, Croydon University Hospital is one of the busiest in London. - Demonstrate a clear understanding of OT skills in relation to children with disabilities
