This college is seeking to appoint a full-time technician to join our existing team, to provide technical support for teachers and Brickwork students.

- £16 - £22 per hour

  • Temporary role fulltime position (37 hours)
  • Workshopbased position with a focus on handson practical work
  • Support the teacher during sessions, actively assisting in setting up before classes and packing down after classes
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the workshop and all associated equipment
  • Ensure the workshop is organised as well as mixing and moving mortar
  • Demonstrate proficiency in brickwork techniques
  • Provide handson assistance to students during practical exercises

A bit about you

  • You will hold a level 3 qualification in brickwork level 2 would still be considered
  • Ability to work effectively with vocational learners aged 161
  • You will have at least 2 years experience in bricklaying with knowledge in the use of equipment
