Our client specialise in the design and manufacture of special purpose machinery for a growing list of UK and international clients and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of HR Manager.
The HR Manager will be based in Bristol and will commit to working on a month fixed term contract (covering maternity leave).
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to work with a market leading global business.
The Role:
Reporting to and working closely with the directors the HR Manager's duties and responsibilities will include but is not limited to the following;
- Review, maintain and develop group wide HR policies, processes, systems and contracts etc etc
- Manage the HR function for two UK locations in Bristol & East Midlands
- Oversee payroll function and payroll approval
- Provide professional HR support and guidance on matters including recruitment, training, disciplinary actions etc etc.
- Support group HR projects in the UK
- Manage small team of HR assistants
Candidate:
You will be an experienced HR Manager ideally with previous experience in working with a multi-national organisation / company. Applicants with manufacturing experience will be beneficial.
You will be a highly motivated, professional HR Manager / Business Partner ideally holding Chartered CIPD membership.
The HR manager will be based in Bristol however you will provide HR support for another site in the East Midlands so regular travel will be required.

Mon - Fri (37 Hours)
