Job Title: Recruitment Lead

As a key member of the HR Direct Leadership Team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our Centre of Excellence with full accreditation to the Customer Service Excellence Standard. Your expertise in advising on terms and conditions of employment, supporting employment case management, and interpreting employment policies will be essential in guiding and managing our team of HR Advisors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice and assistance in interpretation and application of policy to employees and managers on HR-related issues.
  • Deliver a self-sufficient Attendance Case Management Service across the whole of NHSBT.
  • Support the HR Direct Service Manager in ensuring professional and effective delivery of service across the function.
  • Maintain high levels of Quality in Service delivery through internal audit checks, case reviews, etc.
  • Produce reports and commentary on performance, as well as using intelligence to propose amendments and input to policy and procedure discussions.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a busy People function involving interpretation and application of staff terms and conditions, management of a busy end-to-end caseload.
  • Knowledge of HR-related UK employment law.
  • Experience of dealing with employee relations issues in a unionized environment.
  • Experience of delivering training on HR-related topics and ability to produce HR-related presentations.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and the use of the internet to produce reports, letters, presentations, and spreadsheets.
Qualifications and Training:
  • Qualified to degree plus postgraduate diploma level (preferably in HR or Business Administration field) OR equivalent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate commitment to own Continued Professional Development (CPD).
