An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic registered professional witha passion for research and teaching to join the Research & Development team at UHBW


The Clinical Research Education Facilitator (CREF) will support the Lead CREF in the provision of high-quality specialist research training and education across UHBW.

They will support the delivery of the in-house research training programmeand initiatives to engage clinical staff with research at UHBW.

The postholder will also maintain a clinical presence, ensuring that both research and clinical staff are well supported in delivering high quality research to patients.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with experience in clinical research and a passion for teaching and education.


The role requires working with a variety of colleagues across UHBW, therefore excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are a must.

  • Coordinate and implement specialist research education and training for a range of staff across the organisation
  • Educate clinical research staff in practice settings and assess against the research competency framework
  • Provide support and development for all grades of staff in clinical research, through the medium of education and training.
  • Work closely with the Lead CREF to develop a multidisciplinary relationship in order to deliver bespoke and comprehensive education
  • Develop relationships and work in collaboration with the wider educational teams across UHBW
