Purpose of the role:


We are looking for an individual to join our shared service retail back office function within the finance team, this would suit someone with accounts clerk experience or an administrator looking for their first role within a finance team.

Ensuring that all payments and refunds are processed on time. The individual will have an eye for detail, excellent time management and prioritisation skills.

On the job training will be available and the potential for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Retail back office tasks
Processing payment runs for refunds

Processing payment runs for purchase of stock

Reactivation of client deposits

  • Posting of daily cash receipts
  • Manual payment set up
  • Process efficiencies is there is better way to do this task
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Managing shared mailbox, task queue
  • Stock take attendance, as required
  • Debt management for consignment invoices
  • Ad hoc assistance in relation to retail transaction processing
  • Ensure completeness of documentation and retention for audit purposes
  • Assist with any other tasks/projects, as required
Key skills;

  • Numerate (GCSE Maths C or equivalent)
  • Excellent communicator
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Open to change
  • Ability to adapt to new IT systems and ways of working
  • Team player
  • Multitasking and prioritization of workload
  • Finance system experience preferable

Job Types:
