As a Mammographer, you will play a vital role in supporting our breast clinics to detect breast tissue abnormalities by completing mammographic imaging studies and presenting them for diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct mammography studies by positioning breasts and maintaining production and quality of mammograms by following established standards and procedures.
- Ensure operation of mammography equipment by completing preventive maintenance and maintaining equipment inventories.
- Keep mammography supplies and patient drapes ready by inventorying stock and maintaining personal networks.
- Experience in/understanding of UK diagnostic radiography.
- Desirable - Varied experience within all aspects of radiography; general/CT/MRI/US.
- Experience in private health sector.
- Experience with resolving complaints satisfactorily.
- Some knowledge of report writing.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- DCR (T) or BSc (Hons) in Radiography (or equivalent).
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
