What you'll be responsible for:

  • The post holder will provide administrative support to the GP ST Training Programme Directors covering all aspect of the Scheme.
  • Liaising with GP Training Programme Directors (TPDs), medical staffing and other stakeholders to plan training programmes.
  • Updating and maintaining Training Programme rotations, including trainee placements both hospital and General Practice placements on Trainee Information System (TIS) and ePortfolio.
  • Updating TIS and ePortfolio with changes to rotations, sickness absence, parental leave, out of Programme activities etc. Ensuring that this information is communicated accurately to the HEEoE School of General Practice and Lead Employer.
  • Liaising with TPDs in relation to vacancies and the construction of appropriate rotations for the recruitment process using TIS
  • Working with TPDs to review new starter allocation to training posts and overall Programme rotations.
  • Communicating with newly appointed trainees: to welcome to the Scheme, confirm placement and reporting details as well as Trust and Training Programme induction event.
