Sales Order Administrator - Exciting Opportunity at a Leading Medical Company
We are looking for a Sales Order Administrator to join our team on a 6-month contract covering maternity leave at our established medical business in Stevenage.
As a Sales Order Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the office manager and sales team by managing order processing, stock levels, and customer inquiries. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the sales mailbox
- Processing sales orders and coordinating with the distribution warehouse
- Ensuring order accuracy upon arrival in the UK
- Handling stock levels, replenishment, and matching stock to orders
- Assisting with administrative tasks related to orders and returns
- Conducting stock checks and producing reports
- Updating the CRM system with relevant information
- Communicating with sales and management teams for data accuracy
- Dealing with inbound inquiries and telephone calls
The ideal candidate will possess problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and experience in sales order processing and stock management. Additionally, CRM experience and familiarity with Iris Exchequer or Business Central is advantageous. A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability are crucial for this role.
This full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm) offers a total of 37.5 hours per week in Stevenage with 22 days of holiday plus bank holidays. You will enjoy working in a friendly environment with pleasant offices and on-site parking.
