The post holder is responsible for assisting with system development, administration and implementation along with supporting teams and individuals in optimising system usage to ensure that the Trust and Service Users obtain the optimum benefits, staffing levels, appropriate skills and training.


The post holder will support the Project Team and the E-Rostering Team in ensuring efficient and effective administration and implementation of the new E-Roster system.

To work as part of a team to ensure the roster systems is utilised for optimum benefit and that the users are appropriately empowered to gain maximum benefit from the roster system

Support training in line with the implementation plan to ensure a proactive/quality E-Roster Service to enable safe staffing and staff satisfaction

Communication:

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Participating in the 'call centre' approach and ensure a high standard of customer care is maintained as an individual, as well as across the team

To assist with creating and updating 'user guide' tools/manuals/help sheets/FAQs for service users

To communicate with the external agencies on various issues, Allocate

Planning and Organisational Skills:

Participate in the delivery of training to staff at all levels within the roster system, this may be 1:1 or group training

The post holder will be required to organise their own workload and work with the Manager's to ensure excellent workforce planning

Ability to prioritise work load and delegate where necessary

Analytical and Judgement Skills:

To look into incidents which will require the post holder to use their judgement and escalate to senior members of the team where necessary

To monitor and record 'day to day' complex issues and to escalate where necessary

Deal with sensitive information in an appropriate way, taking into consideration GDPR and Trust policies

Participate in the completion of risk assessments for the department

Participate in the evaluation of service innovations and recommendations

Propose changes to relevant policies and participate in local protocols and SOPs'

Policy and Service Development:

To identify opportunities for improvements within the Project/Roster Team and support the changes within the team

To deliver a customer focused and user friendly service which provides accurate and timely information

Contribute to development of policies for the Trust
