Job Overview
- Trainer (Hybrid) Remote & On-Site Trust working.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our forward-thinking Apprenticeship team, which is part of the People and Organisation Directorate (OD), to support the planning, organisation, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of teaching and learning for apprentices undertaking an Apprenticeship programme.

You need to be proactive, enthusiastic and possess strong employer engagement skills to develop effective business relationships that enhance the apprentice journey.

Most importantly, you need to be a great team player, and be motivated and committed to ensuring all apprentices maximise their potential, deliver impact within their organisation and are fully prepared to embark on the next stage of their career journey.

The role includes;
- Manage the successful apprentice journey of individuals to ensure they complete their apprenticeship, on time, using the e-Portfolio, OneFile.
- Deliver high quality apprenticeship training utilising a range of methods (e.g. face-to-face on site, or via Teams).
- Deliver one to one tutorial sessions with apprentices to ensure they progress in their learning and can capture robust work-based evidence.
- Assess apprentices’ work, via digital assessment methods, to ensure that they meet standard or qualification.
- Conduct progress review sessions, in accordance with SWB guidelines and ESFA rules, to track, record progression and overcome any barriers to learning.
- Provide robust and constructive feedback/ feedforward to apprentices, in verbal and written forms, to support their development and provide stretch and challenge.
- Explore opportunities to support apprentices with careers information advice and guidance and record outcomes of discussions.
- Contextualise and embed Prevent Duty, British Values, Safeguarding and EDI in all aspects of the apprentice journey.
- Liaise with employers as required to provide information on apprentice progress.
- Maintain an up to date CPD Log, and attend monthly Standardisation events and awarding body updates.
