  • Chelmsford**The Allstar Community Academy (ACA) is a thriving wraparound childcare setting, with vacancies for NVQ Level 2+ Qualified Playworker to join our team.


As a Playworkers you will plan, organise and take part in play and leisure activities for children aged 4 to 11 years.


Duties

  • Provide fun activities for the children
  • Assist at meal times and encourage good manners
  • Ensure that each child is cared for to the highest possible standard with regard for their unique personalities.
  • To be familiar with current OFSTED Standards
  • Attend staff meetings
  • Keep up to date with relevant training
  • Carry out any other duties as necessary

Qualifications & Skills

  • Level 2+ in childcare or equivalent essential
  • Enhanced DBS check required
  • Experience desired but not essential
  • To assist in the provision of children's play based activities that reflect their social, educational, physical and recreational needs of children
  • Help ensure children's wellbeing and safety.

Training courses provided to enhance personal development.
Level 2 in Early Years and Childcare (or equivalent) is essential.

Shifts available:
Term Time only.

Monday - Friday 7.15am -8.45am

Monday - Friday 2.45pm-6.00pm 3.00pm-6.15pm
