We are seeking kind and patient volunteers to drive elderly people to and from a weekly lunch club in Great Baddow, Chelmsford.
The lunches are held every Tuesday at St Mary's Church in Great Baddow, from 11:45 to 13:15.
As a volunteer driver, you will be responsible for collecting the elderly individuals from their homes, assisting them with getting in and out of the vehicle, and ensuring their safe return home.
Your own car, which is insured, taxed, and road-safe, is required for this role. You will also need to be able to lend a helping hand or supporting arm as needed.
We reimburse your mileage at 45p per mile, and a DBS check will be done for you, free of charge.
