Senior Sales Administrator

The Role
The Senior Sales Administrator will play a key supporting in the Customer Experience team by:

  • Qualifying / prioritising new inbound enquiries
  • Arranging new business calls/meetings for the sales team
  • Helping to nurture relationships with potential clients
  • Coordinating outreach to target customers
  • Handling salesrelated admin, both external (issuing documents, chasing signatures) and internal (maintaining CRM data, producing sales reports).

Requirements:

Awareness / Prospecting / Outreach

With the objective of gathering suitable leads:

  • Research businesses within specified target sectors, and conduct outreach programmes through a combination of direct contact, targeted account-based marketing and third-party lead generation services, as appropriate.
  • Assist in the organisation of trade shows and exhibitions.

Consideration / Nurturing / Conversion

  • Monitor inbound enquiries.
  • Qualify, categorise and prioritise leads.
  • Schedule prospect meetings, involving the ideal mix of colleagues, and allowing sufficient time for briefing and preparation.
  • Capture meeting notes and actions in Hubspot. Track progress on actions and chase as necessary.
  • Handle followup communications, including the issuing of draft paperwork (NDA, Eval Agreements) proposals and contract templates.
  • Coordinate client communications around commercial and legal negotiations, collaborating with colleagues as necessary to ensure a clear process for internal review and input, and the timely progression and positive outcomes of such negotiations.
  • Route documents through DocuSign for authorisation, and store final copies as appropriate.
  • Track invoicing requirements and raise all Invoice Requests.

Reporting

  • Maintain data within Hubspot to ensure that Deal and Contact information is accurate ahead of weekly sales meetings.
  • Collaborate with the wider team on automation and attribution reporting initiatives, to maximise efficiency in your role and help the business scale efficiently.
  • Prepare sales performance data for inclusion in board reports (e.g. won, lost, new entries, pipeline movement).

This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to be in our Edinburgh office at least 3 days a week.
