We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional, ideally well-versed in the travel/hospitality/tech recruitment space to help grow our business teams, build innovative recruitment strategies, and deliver a seamless candidate experience for people to join us.

This is a blended role of Talent Acquisition Operations and strategic value add, sitting within the People & Culture team.

This is our first Talent Acquisition role within the team and will be integral to how we expand our portfolio of travel and tech brands/products/experiences to expand geographically.

The person in this role will have ownership of the recruitment pipeline for TourAxis and all its brands, acting as a key Talent Partner and advisor to hiring managers on both the front and back end of recruitment operational efforts.

The person in this role will also collaborate with our Head of People and Culture to further develop the strategic direction of TourAxis' talent building efforts, including employer branding, our EVP, inclusive hiring, and our strategic global hiring roadmap for the next few years.

TourAxis has an ambitious vision of what the future of travel could be, and the person in this role will be an integral part of driving towards that vision by identifying the right talent.

Ultimately, they will be a key player in achieving our ambition of becoming one of the world's most successful, diverse, and equitable travel tour operating companies.

Sourcing the best talent and building innovative search strategies that will attract the best possible candidates;
Lead all recruitment initiatives across the business to enable scaling through strategic talent acquisition;
Take an innovative, creative approach to sourcing and building talent pipelines;
Improve quality of hire , especially for key roles in the South Africa, UK, European, Asian and US markets;
Effectively leverage understanding of UK, European, South African and US knowledge and global recruitment landscapes;
Adopt a data-driven approach to optimising recruiting KPIs;
Improve the way we use our applicant tracking system (ATS), our assessment methods, interview techniques and/or candidate experience journey;
Deep hiring expertise is a must based on business needs (within travel and/or tech is preferred);
Proven ability to manage ad-hoc hiring and staffing needs;
Experience expanding into new emerging and established markets, leveraging creative international sourcing approaches;
Building relationships with both passive and active candidates, managing them through our recruitment journey. Minimum 5+ years of recruitment / talent acquisition experience at an in-house agency and as an internal Talent Acquisition Specialist at high-growth travel/tech, tech start-ups or more established, tech or fintech matrix environments;
Experience in recruitment project management and managing multiple open roles at a time;
Experience in recruitment scaling globally during rapid growth;
Experience working with several recruitment tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, tech-stack, references and background checks systems, etc;
Experience building data analytics and metrics for various KPIs, including EDI, employer branding, etc;

Experience in sourcing exceptional candidates through non-recruitment agency channels and building out candidate pools for several different functions and roles.

Knowledge of entire full cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques;
Ability to creatively leverage different sourcing channels and networks;
A data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage talent analytics to uncover insights and inform strategies;
Strong project and change management skills to lead complex, strategic talent programs involving multiple stakeholders;
MS Office, Google Suite Workspace, Miro, Slack, Tableau, Canva, Asana, etc;
Experience working with several HRIS and ATS systems such as Greenhouse, Screenloop, Ashby, Teamtailor, BambooHR, Workable and others
