Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Event Planning Intern to join our team. This internship opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience in the field of event planning and coordination.

As an Event Planning Intern, you will assist in organizing and executing various events, gaining practical skills and knowledge in event logistics, vendor coordination, and client management.


Duties:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, and social gatherings
  • Collaborate with team members to develop event concepts, themes, and timelines
  • Research and secure suitable venues for events
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and products
  • Assist in creating event budgets and tracking expenses
  • Assist in managing event registration processes, including attendee communication and ticketing
  • Provide onsite support during events, including setup, registration, and troubleshooting
  • Assist in postevent evaluation and analysis

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing or related field
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of event planning software is a plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
