Carbon60 is excited to collaborate with a prominent player in the aviation sector to recruit a Senior Financial Consultant within the Finance division.

This organization is a leading global provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services tailored for the civil aviation industry.

This Senior Financial Consultant role is a permanent opportunity that has arisen due to ongoing growth and development. In this position, you will oversee financial transactions, generate financial statements while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities include:
Financial Reporting - prepare, analyze, and interpret financial documents such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Month-End and Year-End Processes - execute procedures including adjusting journal entries and accruals. Generate financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Budgeting and Forecasting - support the creation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and provide insightful analysis.
Financial Software and Systems - leverage financial software and systems to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
Tax Compliance - prepare and submit tax returns in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Audit and Compliance - work collaboratively with auditors during financial audits to ensure a seamless process.
Required Skills and Experience: Over 5 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting.
Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities.
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or part qualification with a relevant accounting body.
Ability to perform well under pressure, strong interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Ideally, CIMA Level education.
