The role
As Strategy Lead - Asset Management Transformation, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will have the opportunity to join our business and be part of delivering the largest tranformation programme in Europe as well as our drive towards enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Babcock and delivering world class engineering support services to its customers.

Day to day, you'll have overall responsibility for determining and delivering the strategy and system workstream. You will help support both Babcock and the Ministry of Defence to ensure that capabilities within the programme are embedded into business operations and that business changes are facilitated to exploit the new capability.

Responsibilities will include:

Defining a structured set of Defence asset management requirements which can be progressively implemented. Creating the plans to develop asset management capability to deliver and sustain the infrastructure necessary. Developing plans to support the necessary associated culture and behaviour change. Developing the stakeholder management and communications plan - Envisioning a better future Interacting with a range of stakeholders in the business and customer organisation across multiple Ministry of Defence departments, to ensure that the programme achieves its goals, and the benefits are delivered, owned, realised, and sustained.

This role is full time - 36 hours and will be based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard 4 days per week with hybrid working from home arrangements.

Essential experience of the Strategy Lead - Asset Management Transformation:

Experience of defining and leading programmes and possess leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence all stakeholders. Deliverig comlex critical change management, programme management or strategic management. Ability to work well with small teams as well as a wider groups of stakeholders. Fostering teamwork and collaboration A working understanding of asset management (desirable)

Qualifications for the Strategy Lead - Asset Management Transformation:

Ideally a Bachelor's degree in either Engineering/Project/Business & Leadership or another related field or equivalent experience

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
