This is a team being built to drive Operational Process and Control Management across a rapidly growing Finance Bank, based in the UK.
Description
The Operational Process and Control Management:
Ensure process management and control practices are robust and in line with objectives, Risk Framework and KPIs, any other regulations, guidance and best practice as appropriate.
Design and lead the implementation of a well-defined governance structure, with exhaustive accountability's and responsibilities of an effective control function.
Accountable for the effectiveness of the control's framework within the business.Support the business in mapping, maintaining and improving their business processes and controls
Work with 2LOD on the development and execution of process management and control risk articulation and updating of the bank's Control library as appropriate to ensure the coherence and simplification of risk articulation across the bank.
Be responsible for the development, execution and ongoing monitoring of Process Management & Control Risk definition, testing and assurance work.
Profile
For the Operational Process and Control Management
- At least 5 years leadership in process management and control risk within Financial Services or similar sectors.
- Sound understanding of Process Management & Control Risk sector obligations and horizon risk.
- Experience of building process management and control risk functions from scratch/early stage in a startup/scaleup environment.
- Experience of working closely with second line of defence to implement effective process management and control testing and reporting regimes.
