Join Our Team as an Accommodation Project Worker


Our Accommodation site in Bury St Edmunds offers two types of accommodation, and where a young person will be housed depending on their individual circumstances and needs.

These are Supported housing for 16-21-years olds and YMCA Flats for 18-25 years old.

Job Role:


As an Accommodation Project Worker you will assist and interact with residents to ensure they have basic life skills to enable them to develop the necessary skills to support the successful resettlement.

You will be required to encourage an appropriate standard or behaviour to support a warm, clean and homely environment.

We are seeking individuals who possess the following qualities:

  • Experience working with young people with complex needs.
  • Direct client interaction experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, teamwork mindset, and willingness to work unsociable hours.
  • Capacity to manage challenging behaviour with a positive and confident approach.
