We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Project Worker at our Homelessness Service scheme in Bury St Edmunds.

As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers who have experienced homelessness to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to customers, encouraging them to maximize their potential and independence
  • Assess customer needs and develop support plans to address their unique challenges
  • Act as a first point of contact for customer queries and concerns
  • Build strong relationships with customers, respecting their autonomy and dignity
  • Liaise with external agencies to enhance customer confidence, health, and wellbeing
  • Manage emergency situations and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Experience working with adults who have experienced homelessness
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Organizational skills and functional literacy and numeracy
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards
