Sanctuary Supported Living is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Project Worker to join our Homelessness Service team in Bury St Edmunds.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team to provide intensive support to individuals who have experienced homelessness. As a Specialist Project Worker, you will play a key role in helping our customers to achieve their goals and maximize their independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized support to customers to help them overcome barriers and achieve their goals
  • Work closely with staff and customers to deliver a high-quality support service
  • Manage a team of Project Workers to ensure the smooth running of the service
  • Recruit, develop, and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide effective support
  • Oversee and monitor the quality of risk assessments and support plans to ensure they are effective and up-to-date
  • Liaise with staff to ensure positive outcomes and maintain tenancies
  • Promote safe working practices and complete health and safety checks to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • NVQ3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
  • Proven experience of working with a similar customer group
  • Sound knowledge of housing management, including rents, tenancies, and health and safety
  • Good understanding of occupancy agreements
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and react effectively under pressure
