Supporting our client who are situated in the heart of Carlisle, awell-established food manufacturer; now require an experienced individual to join their team with cleaning, facilities and hygiene experience.
The successful candidate will will play a pivotalrole in order to co-ordinate the plant, production, office and facilities cleaning requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and ambitious individual, possibly someone who is of supervisory level seeking their next challenge.
Ideally, you will have a clear understanding of the hygiene standards and cleaning requirements in a commercial environment / facilities management field.
You will be supported by an experienced team, however we will need you as theHygiene Manager to oversee the operations, with key responsibilities to:
- engage, motivate and develop the team to enable the achievement of KPIs and satisfactory completion and sign-off of all cleaning processes
- ensure the cleaning teams are adequately resourced at all times, maintaining and developing the appropriate skill base
- ensure best practice is adopted in all processes and activities, supporting and driving a culture of continuous improvement
- prepare, review and update documentation including risk assessments, method statements and training evidence
- monitor and review KPI data, reporting the results to the leadership team and addressing any shortfalls to ensure that satisfaction is achieved
- take an active role in customer visits and audits including the presentation and explanation of necessary due diligence information
- understand the budgetary requirements and factors that affect them and work within these parameters
- monitor and challenge efficiency, service levels and labour utilisation in order to maximise operational effectiveness
- proven people management ability
- strong communication skills
- a flexible and adaptable approach to changing client requirements
- a sound ability in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- excellent organisational skills and a calm, confident manner
- Plant experience would be ideal
Friday Monday (40hrs)
8am 4pm (Weekdays)
6am 6pm (Saturday & Sunday)
