An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the East Region Recruitment Service as a Team Lead.
Who we are
NHS Scotland has established a "Once for Scotland" recruitment process that is delivered by 3 Regional Teams.
The East Region Recruitment Service is the first one to launch, enabling the effective sharing of expertise, knowledge, skills, and experience so that we can provide a robust, efficient, quality driven and customer-centred recruitment service to 5 NHS Boards.
Being the first to launch means that we must anticipate and overcome challenges that may arise without relying on other teams for help.
What you will do
Working as a key member within the service, you will lead the day to day running and delivery of recruitment activities.
Contributing to service development activities will be an important part of what you will do as part of our continuous improvement approach.
What you will bring
If you can lead, motivate, and develop a team within a changing environment, we want to hear from you
You will bring with you experience of providing recruitment support together with the ability to balance conflicting demands to meet key targets.
Experience of first-line management and having ideas on how to support a team through change will also be very useful.
Please note:
As this post is part-time the salary will be pro-rata. The role currently involves home working and access to an office base within the region is available too.
