The successful candidate will be responsible for motivating and developing a high-performing team, ensuring the delivery of safe, clean, welcoming, and vibrant environments across the region. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Recruiting, onboarding, training, and retaining a talented team
  • Communicating effectively with site teams and stakeholders to ensure clarity on roles and responsibilities
  • Conducting regular site visits to track performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Managing the performance of the regional team, with a focus on reward and recognition, and addressing underperformance promptly
  • Ensuring all mandatory and role-based training is up-to-date across the region
  • Developing a talent matrix and succession plan to ensure high performance in the team
  • Building a culture of high standards of compliance, working closely with HAST and Estates teams
  • Hosting regular meetings with key stakeholders and the team to ensure best practice and compliance across the region
  • Achieving high compliance through the HAST audit scheme, exceeding benchmarks
  • Ensuring site teams are fully staffed with 'Keyholder' trained iQers and have adequate MHFA trained staff at all times
  • Reacting to and owning incidents across the region, ensuring prompt resolution
  • Carrying out iQQi audits to ensure teams are delivering the brand standard and operations compliance
  • Engaging with regional HAST/Estates and Asset teams to ensure iQ properties are on-brand and fit for customers
  • Developing asset plans with the asset team to ensure the iQ Proposition evolves to meet future customer needs
  • Ensuring site teams deliver operations standards of iQ HOW
  • Leading the team to deliver an NPS score and move-in/move-out experience exceeding company targets
  • Ensuring response times are met across all sites and escalations are owned and resolved in the region
  • Owning the roll-out of initiatives from central functions across all sites
  • Maintaining all sites at 4* and above across review platforms such as Google and StudentCrowd
  • Hosting weekly trade review meetings within the region
  • Attending meetings with University partners to ensure long-term relationships

We work a hybrid model with 3 days in our sites across Scotland and the North. If you have a proven track record of managing large teams, experience in financial management and budget control, excellent customer service skills, project management skills, and demonstrable management and leadership skills, we encourage you to apply.
