Working as a Healthy Lifestyle Advisor for our FAB service at Your Health Your way

  • Notts you will be working with children and young people (CYP), families, and BAME communities to support, motivate and advise those who are currently overweight or obese and aim to engage them into healthier lifestyles and becoming more active. You will be passionate about working with individuals and groups to begin the life changing processes necessary for permanent and continued weight management, better health, and improved general wellbeing.


You will be joining a large team of behaviour change specialists in ABL Health including specialist lifestyle coaches, nutritionists, dietitians, GPs, psychotherapists and exercise specialists to deliver evidence based, holistic and realistic weight management and physical activity to people in the community.


You will understand challenges and barriers that CYP, families and BAME communities face with relation to their health (both physical and mental) and wellbeing.

You will engage with and build a good rapport with families from varying communities across Nottinghamshire.
