About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Healthy Lifestyle Advisor. As a key member of our community health team, you will play a vital role in promoting healthy lifestyles and delivering motivational change to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver one-to-one and group weight management programs, including healthy eating, behavior change, and exercise delivery to adults in the community.
  • Provide safe and personalized advice on healthy eating, behavior change, and physical activity to children, young people, and families.
  • Support clients with a client-centered, non-judgmental approach using skills of positive psychology and motivational interviewing.
  • Deliver health promotion activities as required at various localities.
  • Contribute to ongoing service development needs and maintain accurate records and data.
  • Build community links and partnerships to develop specific services to meet community needs.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level or relevant equivalent experience.
  • CIMSPA (previously REPS) qualified Level 2 Gym instructor/Group exercise award or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, administration, and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations and work well under pressure.
  • Willingness to learn and innovate.
