Job Description

Job Title: Interim Fleet Coordinator

Location: West London

Salary: Competitive

Position Overview: We are seeking an interim Fleet Coordinator to support our logistics operations during a transitional period. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of our fleet, ensuring efficient utilization of vehicles and resources.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Manage fuel consumption, tracking, and reporting to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance fleet performance, safety, and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of fleet assets, expenses, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in fleet management, preferably in the FMCG industry
  • Strong understanding of transportation regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

Duration: Temporary/Interim position with the possibility of extension based on business requirements.
