This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities: * Maintain accurate records of all parts and components in inventory, being the point of contact for all part enquiries. * Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary parts and components according to demand forecasts and fitter schedules. Negotiate pricing and terms to optimize cost-effectiveness. * Assist Mobile Fitters with parts enquiries. * Receive incoming parts shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for quality and accuracy. Document any discrepancies and coordinate with suppliers for resolution. * Generate regular reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and inventory performance metrics. Provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization and cost reduction. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and procurement to ensure seamless operations and timely availability of parts.Skills and Experience: * Previous purchase experience within a construction or heavy equipment company * Good interpersonal and communication skills * Strong organisational skills and the ability to perform in a high-pressure environment. * Good IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
