Job Description

We are currently searching for an Archive Operative, for a 12mth contract.

Office based in East London, the ideal candidate will be strong technically and data savvy. Are you hardworking, organised and flexible? Are you looking for an opportunity to make an impact within a dynamic company? If so, please read on.

Key Responsibilities

  • Making footage available to clients via the Content Operations and Research teams through the cataloguing and digitisation of priority content within the timeframe specified.
  • Supplying our clients with the exact timecodes requested for their projects, clipping and delivering the footage within the timeframe specified.
  • Ensuring physical and digital assets are properly filed, stored, recorded and added to the database.

Place of Work

  • Required to come into the office full time
  • Tasks and responsibilities may change subject to the company requirements.

Tasks

Technical Operations/ Digitisation and Cataloguing

  • Digitising priority content, ensuring that digital files and their associated screeners adhere to critical essential criteria and are digitised in the specified time guidelines
  • Ensuring all content is backed up and the associated metadata is accurate
  • Checking Content and Research Slack channels and completing requests and letting the team member know in a timely manner.
  • Cataloguing priority collections accurately as directed by the Operations Manager
  • Retrieving priority reels from and returning reels to the storage facility in a timely and organised manner

Master Clipping

  • Ensuring all master files created meet quality control standards and are delivered to clients on time
  • Meeting targets set for master clipping.
  • Troubleshoot clipping issues/timecode issues direct with clients
  • Ordering in master files from suppliers.

General

  • Accurately recording tasks completed and communicating with team members
  • Any other tasks as required
